Before You Ride

  • Must be 18+ years old

  • Minors aged 16 - 17 may ride under a legal guardians account via a group ride. See User Agreement for details

  • Wear a helmet - its the law

  • Check battery level & brakes

  • Ensure lights and bell work

Rules of the Road

  • Travel in the far right lane staying as far right as possible

  • Roads with speed limits of 50 km/h or less; travel in the far right lane staying as far right as possible

  • DO NOT ride on roads with speed limits over 50 km/h unless they have a designated bike lane

  • Bike lanes and multi-use paths

  • DO NOT ride on sidewalks, crosswalks or pedestrian paths

  • Use signals when turning

  • For left turns use a two-stage turn: 1. Continue through the intersection in the far right lane. 2. After crossing, stop at the corner (out of traffic) and turn your scooter to face the direction you want to go. 3. Proceed when light turns green

What Not to Do

  • No riding under the influence

  • No passengers or towing

  • No phone use while riding

  • No sidewalk riding unless signs say it’s allowed

  • It is not recommended to make left hand turns across traffic. Follow the 2 stage left turn, explained under ‘Rules of the Road’ above

How to Operate Scooter

  • Start your ride using the Revii App

  • Kick off, gently pressing the right-hand throttle to accelerate

  • To slow down or stop, let off the throttle and squeeze the hand brake levers

  • Use the bell from a safe distance to alert others of passing; always pass on the left when safe

  • End your ride via the Revii app. Follow all instruction to officially end your ride
