Zoomr follows all rules and regulations established by British Columbia’s Electric Kick Scooter Pilot Project

  • Minimum Age: 18+ years old or 16+ under a legal guardians profile using the ‘group ride’ feature. See User Agreement for details

    Helmet: Mandatory - it’s the law

    License: Not required

  • Zoomr works on a hub (aka Zoomr Zone) based network. Zoomrs must be picked up and returned to any designated Zoomr Zone hub.

    Find a hub and check ride availability via the Revii app

    Currently we have 1 pilot hub located at QV Cafe & Bakery with plans to expand

    Bike Lanes: Permitted

    Roads with speed limits 50km/h or less: Ride as far right as practical

    Roads with speed limits over 50km/h: Only if a designated cycling lane is present

    Sidewalks & crosswalks: Prohibited unless signage indicates otherwise

    Speed Limit: Not to exceed 25km/h (built-in speed limiter)

    Signals: Use when turning

    Single Rider Only: No passengers or towing

    Riding Formation: Single file; do not ride beside another person

    Impairment & Distractions: Operating under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or while using electronic devices is illegal
